Presentation Description: This session will teach you how to utilize your internal resources (Satir Self-Esteem Toolkit) to create congruent choices for greater balance in your personal and professional life. We will use a multimedia approach including didactic instruction, film, guided imagery and other experiential activities. You will develop techniques for applying your own internal resources to create balance in your personal and professional life. . Objectives:

Presenters: Jamie Dickey Ungerleider, LCSW-PhD is a retired Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Sciences University. Who is presently in private practice as a relationship coach and psychotherapist in Portland, Oregon.
Ross Ungerleider, MD, MBA is a professor and chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Jamie Dickey Ungerleider, LCSW-PhD is a retired Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Oregon Health& Sciences University, now in private practice as a relationship coach and psychotherapist. Jamie and Ross met through their mutual interest in the work of Virginia Satir and through their connection to The Satir Institute of the Southeast. Together they have published articles and led workshops for health care professionals on leadership, balance, relationship skills and professionalism. Additionally, they have taught courses on medical marriages. They are completing a book on Balance and Leadership for Professionals.
Anne Strand, D. Min., LMFT is a psychotherapist in private practice in Oxford, Mississippi. She is an accomplished analyst and marriage and family therapist who is also certified in DST (Developmental Skills Training). Anne and Jamie Dickey-Ungerleider are presently completing a resource kit and meditation guide for utilizing the Satir Self-Esteem Toolkit.
