Presentation Description: 

In this time of rapid global change, leaders must be more congruent than ever before. The task of the global leader is not only to be technically excellent in their prospective field, but also to develop the wisdom necessary to create healthy corporate cultures in which people can thrive with vitality. We will explore foundational concepts of the Satir Transformational Leadership Model and how leaders can grow using the model while creating widespread systemic change within a corporate environment.

 

Objectives:

  • Analyze the foundational concepts of the Satir Transformational Leadership Model.

  • Compare the relationship between the different coping styles and how people acquire power using them.

  • Summarize how leaders can grow using the model and how to create widespread systemic change within a corporate environment.

Presenter:

Angie Dairou, MA, is an organizational development consultant, specializing in leadership development using The Satir Growth Model. She is based in Seattle and consults with executives from The Boeing Company, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and others. She is an active member of The Satir Institute of the Pacific and works in Canada, the United States and China.
