Presentation Description: Hierarchy impacts communication; it creates blame and shame. Before the Greeks, a dramatic climate change prompted a shift from partnership to dominator societies. Now it’s essential we shift back. Using demonstration we’ll follow a culture-change process. A self-esteem/addiction sculpt is used to help people slide down the Iceberg (Virginia Satir’s key metaphor for understanding human nature) to Self and high self-esteem. An Affect Bridge, using body memory to connect present pain with past trauma, then leads to a transformative visualization which ends in a “camp-fire” discussion (“change history”) with forgiveness of others and self.
